Governor Gretchen Whitmer addressed the State’s COVID-19 response in a press conference from Lansing on Wednesday, May 13.
Governor Whitmer spoke on the latest COVID-19 data and the State’s phased response to re-open the economy, as well as making light of the impending protests expected to take place on Thursday. Additionally, Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, Chief Medical Executive of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services provided an update on COVID-19 from the medical field’s perspective.
Also, Governor Whitmer was joined by Realtor Maureen Frances and Business Owner Rachel Lutz to discuss the MI Safe Start Plan.
