Governor Gretchen Whitmer, at her Friday, August 14 pres conference, announced a partnership between the State of Michigan, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (F.E.M.A.) and Ford Motor Company, that will produce and distribute 4 million masks across the State, and credited this project to the work of the Michigan COVID-19 Taskforce on Racial Disparities, led by Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II.
