Governor Gretchen Whitmer, at her August 19, 2020 press conference, announced that moneys from the State’s Federal CARES Act dollars would be utilized to provide additional resources to school districts, prioritizing those with more students in situations of need based on socioeconomic situations and access to critical learning resources such as access to technology.
