Walled Lake Consolidated School District Superintendent, Kenneth Gutman, says that Keith students and staff reverted to virtual learning as a precaution due to an increased number of people in their community being in quarantine, and that the School District policy (which Gutman called “conservative”) requires a rollback to virtual learning as a precaution when 10% or greater of the staff or student population is in quarantine.
