Chris Swope, President of the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks (MAMC) and Clerk of the City of Lansing, says that his goal in Lansing since the beginning of his tenure has been to work to make voting easier for all residents that are legally-permitted to vote, and that measures taken by the public such as no-reason absentee voting, as well as efforts from the City, are working to make this hallmark of American life easier to fulfill.
