Equality Michigan Executive Director, Erin Knott, says that education on misinformation about transgender athletes needs to be spread to a wider audience and efforts needs to be made to curb the hateful and transphobic rhetoric surrounding trans athletes in order to provide this cornerstone of development to trans youth and teens in a safe, productive and inclusive manner.
