Governor Gretchen Whitmer provides an update on the State of Michigan’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Governor announced that restaurant capacity limits will be raised from 25% to 50% capacity beginning on Friday, March 5, and that limited visitation of family members to loved ones in nursing homes (pending negative COVID-19 tests) will be permitted as well.
Dr. Joneigh Khaldun updates Michiganders on the available COVID-19 vaccines, including the newly-received Johnson & Johnson vaccine, as well as vaccine distribution progress in the State of Michigan.
Additionally, AARP and Michigan restaurant representative spoke, and Governor Whitmer fielded questions from the press.
