Michigan Community College Association President, Michael Hansen, explained that, while intutition would lead some to believe that enrollment would raise (due to aversion to college-campus life and education during remote learning at the cost of university education, etc.), but because of people’s needs to maintain work and family life in a time of crisis (among other factors), community college enrollment in general is down over the course of the pandemic.
