Mike Szukhent, President & C.E.O. of the Michigan Festival and Events Association, says that the best course of action for event planners to take as they prepare their events is to consult with the local authorities such as county health departments and local police, develop and plan and present it to those authorities, modifying it based on the constructive criticism that is provided so that events can be ran as they are intended to be, without sacrificing the necessity of public health.
