State Senator, Jim Runestad, from Michigan’s 15th District, says that he and his colleagues in Lansing were somewhat surprised by Governor Whitmer not signing the bill into law and rejecting to certain elements of the bill, but that they are confident that they can re-spark the conversation on this issue, hopefully find some common ground with the Governor, and pass the bill in 2021.
