Oakland University Professor and Chair of Philosophy, Dr. Mark Navin, Ph.D., says that as more people see others receive the vaccine with minimal (if any) harm or side effects, their slight-to-moderate apprehension tends to reduce and, coupled with a concerted effort in the community to educate people about vaccinations, they become more willing to get vaccinated themselves.
