Dr. Stephanie Lee, Administrative Associate in the Provost’s Office at Oakland University, says that the drive-in commencement will provide an opportunity for virtual and in-person participation, where in-vehicle attendees will be able to tune to a special radio frequency from their cars and watch on large screens as the regular ceremonial portions are done, then travel to a special area for students to leave their vehicles and take their traditional, ceremonial walk and receive their degree.
