Debbie Binder, West Bloomfield Township Clerk, says that the concerns with delayed election results due to an influx of absentee voting is legitimate, but that the delay will only be as a result of ensuring accuracy of the votes in a timely manner for those election workers who are legally-required to finish all vote counting before completing their duties for these elections.
