West Bloomfield Deputy Police Chief, Curt Lawson, says that the “Peer-to-Peer” mental health program is already seeing great results among West Bloomfield Officers, and that younger officers seem to be more willing and open to getting help when it is needed, fostering a culture of awareness of officer mental health and talking about the toll that the rigors of police work can take on members of the police force.
